Job Duties
- Lead and manage space programs from inception to delivery, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, and technical objectives.
- Oversee the Integrated Product Team (IPT), working cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance teams to achieve outstanding program performance.
- Serve as the primary customer interface, driving program execution and maintaining strong relationships through proactive communication.
- Develop and manage comprehensive program plans, including work breakdown structures (WBS), risk assessments, and execution strategies.
- Define and track program budgets, including labor, materials, and other direct costs, in collaboration with functional leaders.
- Implement Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tracking and reporting to monitor financial and operational progress.
- Lead internal design and program reviews, ensuring all technical and programmatic milestones are met.
- Facilitate customer design reviews (EQSR, PDR, CDR, MRR/TRR) and oversee preparation of all required contractual deliverables.
- Coordinate priorities with internal leadership to optimize resource allocation across multiple programs.
- Support business development initiatives, including bid and proposal efforts, management proposal development, and cost estimation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- 7 years of experience in program management, engineering, or operations within aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics sectors.
- Strong understanding of program management methodologies, risk management, and financial controls.
- Experience managing space programs, including commercial GEO or defense-related missions, is highly desirable.
- Ability to analyze technical and contractual documentation and translate it into actionable program execution strategies.
- Knowledge of RF, microwave, or communications subsystems and components is a plus.
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality management system requirements.
- Proven ability to track and report cost/schedule performance metrics and drive on-time, on-budget program execution.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interface effectively with executive management, technical teams, and customers.
- Well-organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in satellite payloads, RF systems, or electronic warfare subsystems.
- Hands-on experience with program financial management, including EVMS reporting.
- Direct involvement in leading technical design and program reviews with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and ability to contribute to proposal development and customer negotiations.
Security Clearance
- Must be able to obtain US Secret clearance.

Compensation Details
$130,000 - $170,000
