What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Intern- Summer position at Approve Payments?
APPROVE is a rapidly growing, venture backed fintech start-up located in the heart of downtown Wilmington, NC. APPROVE develops technology to advance the facilitation of B2B equipment sales and financing between buyers and sellers. Our software product is the most innovative and effective equipment financing solution in the B2B equipment market. Our internship program intends to be a first-class internship, offering tangible advantages to both Interns and the Company. The program will foster a productive learning, networking and mentoring environment and potentially lay the groundwork for future employment relationships.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Engage in online research to identify potential customers.
- Source, qualify, and clean prospects.
- Create and organize multiple contact databases.
- Assist in outbound email campaign management.
- Data entry of equipment specifications, descriptions and pricing.
Requirements:
This is an ideal opportunity for college undergrads in fields related to business, sales, tech and marketing. The candidate should be self-motivated and able to work independently, possess strong critical thinking skills, and must be willing to perform extensive online research and data organization. - Must be a Junior or Senior at a 4-year accredited undergraduate school (with preference to a regional institution) pursuing a relevant bachelor's degree to the Company's operations.
- Must be able to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week on a set monthly schedule.
- Must be able to work in person at the Company's headquarters.
