Approved Freight Forwarders located in City of Industry, has an immediate opening for a warehouse loader to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses forklift and warehouse experience.
Hours: 10-7pm Monday-Friday (OT Mandatory on Tuesdays & Fridays)
The rate of pay for this position is $18-20/hr, based on experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Break down pallets in warehouse
· Utilize an RF scanner to pick orders/read pick orders (loading manifests)
· Load and unload containers
· Follow all safety procedures while performing heavy lifting and operating warehouse equipment
· Operate a forklift
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES:
· Have a positive, can-do attitude
· Ability to work 10-7pm (OT Mandatory on Tuesdays & Fridays)
· Ability to pass all company pre-employment checks including pre-employment drug screen
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· 5 years of forklift experience
· An understanding of weight distribution
· Experience in Distribution, 3PL, warehousing
· Experience with RF guns/scanners
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Sit, stand, bend or crouch for an extended period of time
· Ability to lift 50lbs. unassisted
Salary : $18 - $20
