What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist position at APPS Paramedical Service?
APPS Paramedical is the nation’s largest and most technologically advanced health information provider. Our network of health professionals conducts physical examinations, testing, and personal health interviews, primarily for the life insurance industry.
We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented medical professionals (RN's, LPN's, Certified MA, Phlebotomist, EMT’s & Paramedics) to work flexible hours in the Memphis metro area.
Responsibilities may include: performing mobile paramedical exams (health history, vitals, obtain and complete specimens (blood, urine, etc.), and may complete EKGs.
The ability to schedule your own hours; you tell us when you are available to assist with cases. Applicants MUST be willing to travel within a reasonable radius (30 miles) of the area posted.
Must have one year of current phlebotomy experience and completed a minimum of 200 successful draws, valid driver’s license, and own transportation with valid insurance.
The position requires excellent communication, organization, and technical skills: the interpersonal skills to interface extensively with clients, management, and office staff, as well as a high level of courtesy, tact, and professionalism.
Candidate must also have a tablet (Ipad or Android) with independent internet connection.
Fixed compensation per case/exam completed. Examiners/Phlebotomist are paid one time monthly.
Some Saturday's are required. (3-5hrs in AM)
Fully Vaccinated and Boosters preferred but not required.
