ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Strong phlebotomy skills handling multiple draws per day
- Medical Assistant with EKG experience, proficient with medical terminology and office skills to handle responsibilities outside of clinical
- This candidate has a strong customer service background and excellent interpersonal communication.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Previous experience in medical assistance, phlebotomy, nursing, or other related fields. Familiarity with medical terminology computer software, outlook, windows suite.
- Strong organizational skills and professional etiquette.
- Collect vitals, blood, urine and DNA samples.
- Distribute samples to designated departments.
- Maintain a clean and healthy work environment.
- Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures.
- Answer in bound calls & schedule appointments.
- Manage payroll process.
- Assist in the onboarding of new examiners.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2–3 years practical MA or Phlebotomy Experience.
- Experience taking VITALS (Height, Weight, & Blood Pressures Readings).
- Computer Literate and Proficient in working in Multiple Databases.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced, team environment.
- 1 year of experience in a call center environment or a position requiring strong customer service skills.
