What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Phlebotomist position at APPS Paramedical Services?
APPS Paramedical Services is seeking a medically trained phlebotomist with EXCELLENT PHLEBOTOMY skills.
The applicant will do mobile check-ups on Life Insurance applicants. The fees range from $20.00 to $33.00 per case, depending on the medical requirements.
Our Bryan, Ohio area, which includes the county of WILLIAMS, has a NEED RIGHT AWAY.
This position is an INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR's position.
The work schedule is flexible; you will communicate with our office staff to create your own.
In a REMOTE position, you will use your home as your office, but you will travel to the person who needs to be seen. We try to keep you within a 15-mile radius of your home.
The specimen will be dropped off at the Fed Ex Shipping location closest to your home
The procedures that we need you to be able to do are:
- Collect Blood - Venipuncture
- Collect a Urine sample
- Record Height - Weight - Blood Pressure - Pulse
- Fill out a Medical History Questionnaire.
- Run an EKG strip
The Skills Required:
- 1 Year Post-Externship experience in Phlebotomy
- Vacutainer collection
- Medical Terminology
- Taking Medical Histories
- Vital Signs
- Resting EKG
EQUIPMENT Required:
- Reliable vehicle
- Computer (Desk Top - Lap Top or 9" Tablet)
- Internet
- Printer
- Centrifuge
- Shredding Machine
