Responsibilities: TRAVEL IS REQUIRED IN YOUR AREA
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples from patients, adhering to established protocols and maintaining aseptic techniques.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to identify and prepare patients for blood collection.
- Take vital signs and conduct basic patient assessments as needed.
- Process and handle specimens in accordance with laboratory procedures.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of medical terminology and clinical laboratory techniques.
- Provide patient care and education, including explaining blood collection procedures and promoting patient comfort and relaxation.
- Maintain accurate records of patient data and specimen collection and processing.
- Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective sample processing and testing.
Skills:
- Knowledge of hospital procedures and policies.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
- Proficiency in venipuncture techniques.
