Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Architect (Azure) to join our team for a contract-to-hire position. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure cloud-based solutions, data architecture, and experience working in the banking/mortgage domain. This role will require a deep understanding of Azure Fabric, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and solid experience in cloud data platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design and architect cloud-based data solutions using Azure technologies.
- Work closely with business users, IT stakeholders, and architects to develop scalable and cost-effective data solutions.
- Utilize Azure Fabric to build and manage robust data architectures, including the "One Lake" construct.
- Oversee and guide cloud-based data platform services, making architectural choices based on cost and performance considerations.
- Ensure seamless communication with stakeholders across business and technical teams.
Required Skills:
- 10-12 years of overall IT experience.
- 5 years of experience as a Data Architect working with Azure cloud-based solutions.
- Extensive experience with Azure Fabric (deep understanding of architecture, "One Lake" construct).
- Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Expertise in data modeling and cloud-based data platform services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
- Experience in the banking/mortgage industry is strongly preferred.
