Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods efficiently and safely. This role involves handling inventory, maintaining organization, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving & Unloading: Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders.
- Storage & Organization: Properly store materials and products, ensuring easy accessibility and safety.
- Order Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts, stock replenishment, and record-keeping.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
- General Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Collaboration: Work with team members and supervisors to optimize warehouse efficiency.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $19.55 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
