Marketing Associate

*This is a full-time, in-office position*

Apptium is seeking multiple creative and energetic Marketing Associates to join our team. Ideal candidates are highly organized, self-motivated, and eager for growth and advancement. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various marketing initiatives while working closely with cross-functional teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support daily administrative functions within the Marketing team.
• Lead internal communications, including newsletters, marketing updates, event announcements.
• Maintain internal library of company and marketing assets, templates, and materials.
• Assist in the creation, updating, and cataloging of marketing assets such as case studies, brochures, presentations, and articles.
• Assist in planning, creating, and executing a monthly marketing calendar, including social media posts, events, article placements, press releases, and more.
• Assist in research on target markets and develop content and collateral to fuel campaigns specifically geared toward those markets.
• Develop and maintain updated corporate branding standards and templates.
• Coordinate event planning efforts, managing activities from pre-event organization to post-event follow-ups.
• Conduct competitor analysis, industry research, and market trend assessments.
• Maintain and expand the Global Contact database, ensuring up-to-date records for customers, prospects, partners, media, and analysts.
• Work cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Product, and HR to collaborate on campaigns and initiatives.
• Serve as a liaison between Marketing and other business units, ensuring collaboration on various projects.
• Work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to tasks.​

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in a B2B, SaaS, or technology-related company.
• High-energy, proactive individual with a results-driven, can-do attitude.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to present to both small and large groups.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a strong ability to take initiative.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with social media platforms, and basic graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Suite, Canva) for digital content creation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with B2B/SaaS digital marketing, including growing website traffic and social media followers.
• Strong analytical skills; familiarity with SEO, SEM, CRO, and marketing analytics (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
• Experience with website management (Webflow a plus) and content publishing.
• Knowledge of email marketing, segmentation, A/B testing, and automation tools (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).
• Strong storytelling, editing, and content marketing skills, including blogs, case studies, and marketing materials.
• Ability to simplify complex topics and optimize content distribution across social media and email.
• Familiarity with user engagement, market research, and project management tools.
• Basic video editing skills are a plus.
