About the Job
An assembly professional is needed to work on a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations. The individual will be responsible for performing a range of duties including assembling mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, working from diagrams and drawings, and conducting quality inspections.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
- Work from diagrams and drawings, making initial layouts, and using hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
- Conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications.
- Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
