An electric utilities client is looking for a Business Process Analyst who is responsible for project documentation including definition, requirements, conversion, testing, implementation and training.

Duration : 12 months or longer
Shift : 1st shift, M-F, 8 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm or 9 : 00 am – 6 : 00 pm
- Hybrid in office Tuesday and Wednesday
Scope of Project :
Not supporting a particular project. This role will be a member of the Digital Agility Services team focusing on automation. Our team seeks out manual, repetitive work being done across the enterprise and implement robotic process automations to free up our employees to focus on value-add tasks. This candidate will function as a Process Analyst. Meeting with the business process owners to document their existing manual process and work with developers to get the automation implemented.Day-to-Day Responsibilities / Workload :
Interface with process owners, including senior management, to understand business requirements and design solutions which improve workflow, increase efficiencies in cost and time, and reduce company risk.Assess potential projects by gathering or documenting the as is process.Conduct thorough impact analysis and confirm ROI calculation before making recommendation to move forward with automation or not.Document detailed requirements working with subject matter experts.Coordinate the development process with developers and operations utilizing agile methodology and manage user acceptance approval.Collaborate with Sr Project Manager / Scrum Master on work assignments providing recommended solution or approach to complete the work.Assume ownership and attempt to resolve issues of assigned work.Provide support to move project through existing implementation gates.Make important decisions based off of the automation of business process that can have significant impact on people, process and customers.Required Skills / Attributes :
High School Diploma or EquivalentCommunication, Attention to Detail, Ability to map out processes (ideally experience with MS Visio), Willingness to learn new technologies, Patience (working with business process owners can be a challenge)Industry experience : 2-5 years of experience as an analyst, PM, developer in an enterprise setting. Candidates will be comfortable if prior experience is in large companies.Soft skills :
Communication with all levels of employee.This resource will be working directly with accountants, field resources, planners, customer service reps, etc.Ability to quickly gain trust and gather all the information needed to document a manual process.Also not just limited to verbal communication, candidate will have success if they are able to communicate effectively via email / MS teams to keep projects moving.Desired Skills / Attributes :
Ability to develop process flows; Experience working in MS Visio or other process documentation technologyKnowledge of snag-it and other software to assist with capturing images of current processExperience working in in Agile Delivery modeExperience with Project Management tools (MS Project, Octane)Ability to communicate with business team an interpret requirements back to IT development teams.About our Client :
