An aerospace client is looking for a Quality Control Technician who performs analyses and tests of raw materials, packaging materials, and / or finished products from manufacturing, to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements, and tolerance specifications for the chemical or physical property.
Location : El Segundo, CA 90245 (On-site)
Position : Quality Control Technician
Pay Rate : $22 / hr. - $26 / hr. on W2 (Negotiable-DOE)
Duration : 12 months or longer
Schedule : 9x80 A
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs analyses and tests of raw materials, packaging materials, and / or finished products from manufacturing, to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements, and tolerance specifications for the chemical or physical property.
- Performs a variety of qualitative tests or qualitative assays on samples, and to aid in maintenance and certification of test instruments and apparatus to ensure compliance.
- Prepares and monitors quality statistics and reports.
- Reviews production records for conformance to procedures.
- Conducts non-conformance tests of manufactured, packaged or tested product.
- Setting up large ovens and autoclaves with multiple thermocouples in order to verify temperatures throughout the entire envelope and temperature range. Also, tearing down after survey is completed.
