Location : Santa Fe Springs, CA
Position : Sales Representative (Direct Hire)
Salary : $50-$65K (Depends on the Experience)
We are seeking a Professional Sales Representative for our Manufacturing company. This individual will be responsible to achieve year over year sales growth and solutions that uniquely solves specific business problems for their customer accounts. As the voice of the customer, the Sales Representative will lead planning, setting annual forecast goals, and identifying opportunities for products & services across markets and channels. Through your collaborative partnership across our company, you will coordinate and promote a positive team environment with internal and external partners. The Sales Representative will be responsible for supporting our corporate strategy to meet new business targets for revenue growth through your effective management of your accounts.
Developing new customers and increasing business with current accounts
Preparing and presenting proposals and bids
Learning and fully understanding your customer’s needs and determining whether our business can meet those needs.
Providing leadership to an Account Management (AM), Project Management (PM), and Sales Administration team member assigned to the account to ensure the company’s products or services are delivered on time, on budget and up to the client’s standards.
Meeting with customers to discuss project goals, opportunities, and desired outcomes.
Attend regular customer meetings to ensure excellent customer service
Negotiating with customers to win new business opportunities.
Assisting with developing and communicating timelines for projects
Coordinating teams to meet project milestones
Reporting and recording all sales activities
Attending trade shows to develop new customers and meet with current accounts.
Hosting customers and attending customer events.
Submitting proposed revenue and expense budgets
Learning and develop sales process, reporting and forecasting sales pipeline activity
Manage expenses, making effective and budget-sensitive travel arrangements
Manage expenses and timing based on approved corporate plan
Provide communication and guidance to management teams as required
Other duties as assigned with or without notification
Required Skills :
Must be fluent in English & Spanish
1– 5 years of experience in Sales, preferably in manufacturing or similar industry, or any equivalent combination of related education and experience; College degree preferred
Effective decision-making ability and superior communication skills
Sound knowledge of problem-solving techniques.
Excellent organization and time management skills meeting deadlines as required
Support for change and understand basic change principles
Methodical, analytical and systematic approach to work
Detail oriented and ability to handle multiple priorities
Ability to work as part of a team, Flexible
Frequent Travel required to the US and Mexico to support the business
Must have a valid Driver’s License
Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, …)
ERP system experience
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
