RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Cross Domain Solutions Systems Engineer will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include : concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
US Citizenship requiredBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline with 5 years of experience with consideration given for advanced degreesAbility to obtain and maintain Active DoD Secret Clearance.CDS design experience requiredExperience developing / testing requirements for Multi-Level Security (MLS) Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) applicationsExperience with implementing NSA Raise the Bar (RTB) standards and requirementsExperience with DOORSExperience with Interface Control Document developmentExperience developing and maintaining comprehensive test plansExperience with system functional and non-functional testingExperience translating both business and technical requirements into testable scenariosExperience documenting processes and proceduresHands on experience developing and performing real-time executable mission plansPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Active Secret DoD security clearanceExperience working on Agile programs and methodologyWorking knowledge of Linux, network security, application security, security assessments / testing, industry, and DoD security best practicesExperience providing development and enhancement of security engineering inputs to systems engineering documentation, security authorization packages, and research & development reportsExperience with the Risk Management Framework (NIST SP 800-53)Experience supporting cyber vulnerability assessmentsExperience configuring and using ACAS vulnerability scannerExperience with automated testing frameworks such as Eggplant and Microsoft Testing FrameworkCurrent DoD 8570 Certification IAT Level II or higher (Security , CISSP, etc.) or ability to obtain one within 6 monthsDemonstrated experience using Bash or similar scripting languages to automate tasksExperience with Software Configuration Management tools such as Git, StashExperience with Continuous Integration Technologies such as Jenkins, BambooFamiliarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
