What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at APR Consulting?
A utility client is looking for a Warehouse Clerk who will process inventory and non-inventory receipts into a batch for posting and initiate cycle counts per schedule for all physical warehouse locations.
Location: Tahoe Vista, CA 96148
Position: Warehouse Clerk
Pay Rate: $27/hr. on W2
Duration: 6 months or longer
Shift: 1st shift, 40 hrs. a week, possible OT
Position Summary:
An employee who has had prior clerical and/or warehousing experience. Must have strong computer skills and the ability to learn inventory software systems as well as other systems. Required to be effective when working with the public, vendors, and coworkers, as well as have other qualifications and qualities generally accepted as being desirable in a clerical classification. Works alone on duties for which employee has been trained and instructed and makes independent decisions as necessary to satisfy customer needs and provide quality customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Processing Inventory and Non-Inventory Receipts into a batch for posting by AP Manager.
- Initiate Cycle Counts per schedule for all physical warehouse locations and adding results to a batch for posting by Inventory Manager.
- Participate in full Physical Inventories of all physical warehouse locations.
- Assist Supply Chain Manager and Purchasing Agent with reconciling inventory discrepancies.
- Work with Supply Chain Manager and Field Service Rep to set and maintain logical structure of Bin Locations Ancillary warehouses and storage yards.
- Process “Pick Tickets” for posting by Inventory Manager
- Other duties as assigned within the scope of standard clerical positions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to certify for forklift usage.
