A client is looking for a Shopping Web Designer who will draw on all aspects of product design —information architecture, multi-step flows, motion— to create comprehensive experiences.
Location : New York, NY 10003 (REMOTE)
Position : Shopping Web Designer
Pay Rate : $50-$55 / hr. on W2 (depending on experience)
Duration : 6 months only, reliever role
Hours : 1st shift, M-F, 40 hrs. a week

Product designers at the company collaborate with partners to define the vision for new features, while owning and driving the craftsmanship for every interaction and visual design detail. Day-to-day, you will :Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data analysts to identify opportunities and define design goals aligned with business objectivesPartner closely with user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions, ensuring a user-centric approach in all projectsCreate high-fidelity design deliverables, including wireframes, prototypes, and user flows, to communicate design intent and functionality effectivelyIterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, user testing, and performance metrics to continuously improve and optimize user experiencesStay abreast of industry trends, emerging design patterns, and UX best practices to infuse innovative and cutting-edge solutions into our productsCollaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and a seamless transition from acquisition channels to the product experienceCollaborate with business owners to understand business objectives, identify opportunities, and create effective design solutions that drive business resultsPartner closely with product and engineering teams to drive innovation and push the boundaries of what’s possibleMentor and give feedback with emotional intelligence to teammates and cross-functional partners.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated ability in digital product design for web and mobile software.Portfolio that demonstrates expertise in visual design, interaction design, prototyping, and product thinking.Shown history of leading a user-centered design process from end-to-end.Proficiency in software to build design concepts, prototypes, assets, and specifications.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
