We’re looking for a skilled, compassionate Director of Clinic Services to join our team and make a positive impact on children's lives.
Position Summary
We’re seeking an enthusiastic Director of Clinic Services to support our mission to help children achieve their highest potential. The Director of Clinic Services provides leadership, planning and guidance for the clinic staff providing services designed to meet the needs of eligible children. The Clinic director develops the business plan setting measurable objectives and ensures the fiscal budget for Esperanza Children’s Therapy Clinic is met.
Work Requirements:
Operational Management
- Overseeing the Esperanza Clinic staff to ensure all the Aprendamos policies and procedures are being met according to the business plan.
- Establish and implement services provided and effectively communicate and support the AIT mission and strategic vision.
- Develop Esperanza processes and procedures that support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.
- Functions as the strategic business advisor to the Senior Management team regarding the services provided by the staff.
- Demonstrates the ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods and approaches to perform the services to children.
- Develops a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program to identify the areas for improvement.
- Assists in developing an annual budget with CFO and operating plan to support the clinic.
- Organize time, set priorities, demonstrate flexibility.
- Assume responsibility for the clinic and uphold all executive decisions.
- Demonstrate integrity and discretion in all job-related matters demonstrating an attitude of excellence and quality in leadership duties.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
Clinical Leadership & Quality:
- The Director of Clinic Services provides leadership and guidance to the staff who provide services.
- Provide clinical leadership and policy direction .
- Ensure adherence to accepted standards of medical practice and patient care.
- Promote continuous improvement in the quality of services provided.
- Implement and monitor evidence-based practices.
- Oversee and ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of clinical services.
Staff Management & Development
- Oversees talent management and implementation efforts, including workforce planning, recruitment strategies, hiring, and training, to ensure service needs of eligible children are met
- Completes performance management for Clinic Therapy staff and Senior Client Support Supervisor.
- Interacts and communicates with the administrative team and clinical team.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Address staffing needs and concerns.
Quality Improvement & Compliance:
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Ensure timely completion of documentation of services provided.
- Monitor and address issues related to patient care and facility operations.
- Advise medical personnel on clinical service matters.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Maintain open communication with staff, patients, and families.
- Represent the clinic and agency effectively.
- Collaborate with other programs, community partners, and healthcare providers.
- Establishes rapport with physicians, insurances, families, staff, community resources, and the public
Other Duties:
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in education, health social or behavior science, social services, or a related field from accredited educational program.
- Work experience of at least 4 years working in a pediatric setting.
- Work experience of at least 2 years of management skills or supervisory role.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Bilingual skills English/Spanish are a plus.
- Capable of adapting to a dynamic environment by gathering and integrating relevant information to implement process changes.
- Ability to use decision making skills to plan and accomplish goals without direct oversite.
Physical Requirements
The ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds (e.g., boxes, equipment) without assistance. Capability to stand and walk for extended periods, including moving around the workspace, performing tasks, and interacting with colleagues or customers. Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, and kneel to access various items, equipment, or workspaces as required. Aptitude to reach overhead, horizontally, and below waist level to retrieve and handle objects or materials. Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks continuously throughout the workday. Physical ability to move freely and quickly in various work environments, including navigating stairs, ramps, or uneven terrain if necessary. If the job involves driving, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate vehicles safely and responsibly may be required.
