About Apricotton
Apricotton is a teen bra brand, designing bras to boost girls' confidence while sharing puberty advice to guide them through their formative years. Our bras are specially designed to "grow" as girls grow, so girls can wear the same size as their weight fluctuates.
Since launch, Apricotton has amassed over 200,000 followers on TikTok (@jessmiao and @apricottongirls) and Instagram (@apricottongirls) with over 100 million views, is celebrated in Dragons' Den and press like Seventeen Magazine and BuzzFeed, and is the top Google search result for "teen bra".
Responsibilities
- Strategize creative ways to grow Apricotton's key social media accounts such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts by increasing followers and engagement
- Conduct research on our audience and competitors to guide social media strategy and content
- Manage TikTok Shop influencer collaborations; from initial outreach to aligning on content to post to ensuring the content is posted
- Edit short-form videos and create graphics for Instagram and Apricotton.co aligned to our fun imagery and branding (i.e., product features, blog infographics, outfit inspos, etc.)
- Assist with in-person brand activations and influencer events
About you
- Currently completing your 3rd or 4th year or have completed a post-secondary degree in Business, Communications, English, Media, or a related field
- Strong understanding of key social media sites (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts); able to identify trends and upcoming content creators
- Strong graphic design experience (using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
- Strong video editing and filming experience is a plus (using Capcut, Premiere Pro, etc.)
- Outgoing and approachable personality to be comfortable representing Apricotton at community events
- Eager to learn and share ideas with strong analytical skills
- Creative thinker who can direct algorithm-friendly TikTok ideas
