Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living Caregivers to provide high-quality care and support to residents in our assisted living facility. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in fostering a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment for our residents.
Duties
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration.
- Provide direct support to residents with developmental disabilities, promoting independence while ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Engage residents in social activities and recreational programs that enhance their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by adhering to hygiene standards and protocols.
- Uphold resident rights by treating all individuals with dignity and respect while advocating for their needs.
- Document resident progress and any changes in behavior or health status accurately in care records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid practices and emergency response procedures.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for certain positions involving transportation of residents.
- Understanding of resident rights and commitment to advocating for their needs.
- A background in social work or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.

Pay: $18.23 - $18.71 per hour
