Our corporate office, manufacturing facilities and engineering Innovation Center are located in Wisconsin and we have Sales teams around the country. We have been in business since the 1950's with significant growth the last few years - and plans to continue growing as we deliver healthy air for all!

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist - HVAC (Denver or Salt Lake City) to support and deliver indoor air quality products to our large volume dealers contractors within the Colorado, Montana, Wyoming and Utah territory.

This is a Home-Based B2B (Business to Business) position that requires someone be located in either Denver, CO or Salt Lake City, UT.

Responsibilities

Your day will include :

  • Consulting with Aprilaire dealers to position their businesses for success
  • Providing tailored product and system solutions to HVAC dealerships
  • Displaying an exceptional degree of accountability for sales by cold calling and collaborating with customers on their needs
  • Working collaboratively with Aprilaire distribution managers in securing distributor orders with dealers
  • Developing and leading an Annual Operating Plan to support your sales goals and allows you to plan for your month-to-month future
  • Tracking, updating, and reporting metrics on sales progress, activity, and customer accounts
  • Supporting clients and developing long lasting relationships
  • Updating our CRM (Goldmine) and identifying accounts offering the greatest opportunities
  • Qualifications

  • Experience with B2B sales and selling a tangible product
  • Ability to develop long lasting relationships with customers and provide passionate customer service
  • Self-motivated and forward thinking
  • Flexible, adaptable, and resilient
  • Minimal supervision required
  • Ability to grow and manage your territory
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years' experience or more in progressive sales roles
  • Travel within your territory up to 40% (Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, and Utah)
