Responsibilities
- Owns the Channel strategy to accelerate sales through Amazon, Home Depot, E-tailers, and The E-store
- Responsible for the alignment of Product Management, Sales, and Finance on Channel Strategy.
- Partner with Product Management to align on expectations, timelines, and strategy for the commercialization of current and new products.
- Collaborate with the Channel Sales Manager, uncover new marketing strategies, promotions, and product opportunities that will drive incremental and scalable results.
- Align with marketing communications team on marketing and advertising assets that drive the Healthy Air System messaging throughout the channel.
- Develop, present, and execute key New Product commercial strategies and tactical initiatives.
- Analyze sales reports and market feedback from internal sources, VOC, and other sources to identify key issues, trends, opportunities, and market share growth/decline for use in marketing and sales planning purposes.
- Owning active industry related membership seats to be determined or as directed. Examples include but not limited to EEBA, Energy Star, ABC, FETA, NAHB etc..
- Act as go to point of contact for stakeholders as it relates to best channel practices.
- Knowledgeable about trends in the Ecom & DIY space.
- Monitor competitor programs and channel activity in order to recommend modifications with channel strategy, facilitate execution, and accelerate growth.
- Assess the effectiveness of initiatives including travel into the channel to build firsthand knowledge of the sales execution, program offers, and behavioral dynamics.
- Attend trade shows and other event coordination and provide input on trade advertising.
- Develop and manage approved channel specific budgets.
- Collect, develop and analyze sales reports and market feedback from customers and internal resources.
- Implements, monitors, and tracks the effectiveness of executed marketing strategies while developing tracking tools and metrics to assist.
- Presents and documents sales and gross margin performance based on the executed strategies.
- Works with Finance team to achieve gross margin expectations.
- Leadership to influence and build cross functional team alignment to achieve strategy and program results.
- Has a strong understanding of and experience with eCommerce and DIY channels.
- Exceptional planning, execution, and communication skills.
