Responsibilities:
We are seeking a detail-oriented eCommerce Sales Analyst to join our eCommerce & DIY team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in driving sales growth and operational efficiency across our channels. You will analyze sales performance, customer behavior, and market trends to provide actionable insights that support strategic decisions and optimize our presence both online and in brick and mortar.

Analyze & Optimize Business Performance
- Track and analyze sales performance across digital and retail channels
- Build and maintain dashboards to monitor key metrics and product trends
- Forecast demand and track inventory levels to support effective planning
- Deliver monthly and ad-hoc reports that help leadership make informed decisions
Drive eCommerce Growth
- Manage online product assortments, content, and brand presence on platforms like Amazon and reseller sites
- Evaluate site performance, return on investment, and marketing effectiveness to boost traffic, conversion, and revenue
- Partner with creative and merchandising teams to develop compelling enhanced content—and measure its impact
Know Our Consumer
- Use data to understand who our customers are, how they shop, and what drives their decisions
- Segment audiences by behavior, demographics, and region to support targeted strategies
Stay Ahead of the Competition
- Monitor competitors’ product lines, pricing, and promotions
- Track emerging trends and identify opportunities to enhance our offerings
Support Where It Matters Most
- Jump in on special projects and provide analysis or insights as needed
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- Passionate about eCommerce or retail business model
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel functions
- Proven ability to synthesize and interpret data from multiple sources into a concise, action-oriented summary and recommendation using numbers, charts, graphics, and words.
- Proactive, quick learner, willing to take ownership of assignments and follow through to successful completion.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously without losing productivity.
- Project management experience including demonstrated success working independently on complex projects (whether through school or work)
- Ability to come to Madison headquarters on a quarterly basis or travel as needed in the field 10% or less of the time.
- Bonus points: Experience with digital analytics tools including Amazon Retail Analytics and Stackline. Experience working with a CRM, Shopify analytics, and Salsify a plus.
