Responsibilities
- Repairing and maintaining machinery, mechanical equipment and associated electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and structural make-up
- Light fabrication of guarding and machine structural repairs
- Maintaining and troubleshooting process equipment
- Updating our computerized maintenance management system (eMaint by Fluke)
- Maintaining supply discipline by ordering replacement parts
- Rebuilding/repairing pneumatic hand tools
- Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment repairs.
- High mechanical aptitude and ability to apply to a range of equipment.
- Able to operate a variety of small hand and power tools, a variety of electronic test and measurement equipment, and a variety of production machines and equipment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products is necessary.
- Curious mindset for trouble-shooting and problem-solving
- Ability to operate machines such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, welding equipment and other metal working tools to make and repair parts is desirable.
- Ability to read electrical schematic/ladder logic diagrams and ability to troubleshoot electronic controlled devices
- Background in industrial manufacturing is a huge plus. Crossover industries accepted.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis/troubleshooting skills
- Education or working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs
Salary : $30 - $31
