Job Description
Company Overview: AprilAire is a leading manufacturer of high-speed, 24/5.5 manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing facility, including budgeting and financial management; product quality and customer service levels; and continuous improvement.
- Develop the annual Plant strategic plan, supporting the Company's Strategic Plan.
- Establish a culture of continuous improvement in all levels of the Plant.
- Develop and execute plans that achieve continuous improvement in all Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
- Understand, develop, monitor, and achieve the financial plans for the Plant.
- Develop and implement plans that achieve year-on-year reduction in total Plant manufacturing cost.
- Develop the Plant annual and 5-year capital plans to support the AprilAire Strategic Plan.
- Control inventory, including storage and movement systems, cycle count program, and inventory accuracy metrics.
- Develop and deploy the total Plant quality system that pertains to suppliers, inputs, processes, outputs, and customers.
- Manage safety performance in the Plant.
- Work with Business Leaders to establish on-time customer service KPI's.
- Develop effective production planning processes that improve schedule attainment, reduce material outages, and improve cost efficiency.
- Understand the drivers of the Plant organizational health, including labor planning, developing leaders, and the overall employee experience.
