Join Aprio's Tax team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities.  Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Tax Associate to join the Financial Services team.

• Interacting closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services benefiting clients in the financial services industry
• Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all required tax returns
• Develop and implement tax strategies that optimize our company's tax position while considering business goals, industry trends, and regulatory changes
• Collaborate with clients and provide proactive tax advice and solutions
• Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster their growth and development
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service
• Coordinate workload distribution, projects, and training initiatives within the tax department

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• A CPA is preferred for this role
• 3-6 years' experience years of federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience in public accounting
• Experience in Partnership, Corporate, S-Corp. & individual tax returns
• Experienced in U.S. disclosure of foreign income and assets
• Experience working with tax provisions is preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology
