Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of cleanliness. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role also requires someone who is reliable with attendance and can pass a background check and drug screening.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure effective sanitation.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
- Assist in special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or post-event clean-up.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns from clients or staff regarding cleanliness.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Strong attendance history on jobs.
