Accountant

The Role

Apryse is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical professional who thrives in a dynamic, tech-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
• Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
• Administering accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
• Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Assisting the Financial Controller, North America, as needed.
  
  

Requirements:

• 2 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• Experience with NetSuite OneWorld preferred.
• Experience with revenue booking processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Good problem-solving and time management skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

The compensation for this position is commensurate upon experience, with a range between $55,000.00 - $67,000.00 CAD in on target earnings.
