Project Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing various construction projects from inception to completion. This position requires strong technical skills, excellent project management abilities, and the capacity to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders. The Project Engineer will ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with industry standards.

Duties

• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera for efficient project tracking.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and review schematics, contracts, and construction estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise during construction.
• Implement best practices in project coordination and management to enhance productivity and quality.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to project status, risks, and milestones.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Civil 3D for design and drafting purposes is preferred.
• Experience with project management tools such as Prolog or similar software is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, schematics, and contracts effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
