Position Objective
APS is looking for a Senior AR/AP Specialist to join our Accounting/Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and accounting receivable functions and ensuring accurate financial transactions. This role is critical in supporting the financial health of our organization and will involve collaboration with various departments to streamline processes.

Salary Range
$60,000 to $75,000
Essential Functions
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payment
- Ensure timely processing of customer payments and credit memos
- Contact customers to resolve discrepancies and late payments
- Manage bank relationship
- Complete Vendor/Customer Setup in ERP system
- Reconcile monthly accounts
- Support the finance team with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Experience: 3 years in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and ERP Systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Required Knowledge, Skills, Critical Competencies, and Abilities
- Extensive knowledge of standard office procedures
- Must be very familiar with standard office supplies, equipment, and machinery
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, think critically, and retain focus
- Must be highly organized and willing to assist others
Working Conditions
The Senior AR/AP Specialist primarily works in an office setting with extended periods of sitting in front of a computer. There will also be required interactions with other departments in Operations. This may cause exposure to excessive noises, chemicals/solvents and moving machinery and equipment. Occasionally must lift up to 40 lbs.
