JOB SUMMARY:
The role of the Component Manufacturing Shop Helper will work with the Component Manufacturing team to maintain the shop’s cleanliness and organization.
NOTE: This position is classified as a safety-sensitive position under Oklahoma House Bill 2612, also known as the “Unity Bill”

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that you get along with coworkers and management.
- Primary duties are to maintain the shop’s cleanliness, which includes cleaning floors, machines, and shop areas.
- Notify supervisors of any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Help with the movement of raw materials, finished products, and supplies within the workshop.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of materials to minimize errors and delays.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of tanks for leaks, structural integrity, and safety compliance.
- Follow established procedures and safety protocols for tank testing.
- Document and report findings accurately.
- Operate spot welding equipment to join metal components.
- Ensure welds meet quality and structural requirements.
- Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance.
- Set up and operate PEM (Pressing, Extruding, and Molding) machines.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments.
- Inspect finished products for quality and conformity.
- Use saws to cut aluminum and steel materials according to project specifications.
- Measure and mark materials accurately before cutting.
- Safely handle and store cutting tools and materials
Qualifications

EDUCATION: High School Diploma Required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to perform moderately heavy physical work with routine physical activity, including:
- Standing 60% and walking 40%.
- Frequently, it requires excellent eye-hand coordination, hearing, and visual acuity.
- Ability to routinely lift 30 pounds and move up to 50 pounds throughout the facility.
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to dust, fumes, noise, temperature, and other elements.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and maneuver safely around obstacles.
- Must comply with the company’s drug-free workplace policy.
- Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management.
