Pay: $115,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

The Orange County Transportation Authority (Authority or OCTA) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide program management and construction management services for proposed improvements to an existing office building that will become a new Headquarters Facility (Headquarters) for OCTA. The planned improvements include tenant improvements to the existing 10-story building and construction of a new one-story double-height building, approximately additional 8,000 square feet (SF), adjacent to the 10-story building (Project).
The Project site is approximately 5 acres and is located at 2677 North Main Street in the City of Santa Ana.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Provide full-time on site monitoring and reporting
Required Qualifications (Experience, Education, Certifications, Clearances, etc.):

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of seven (7) years of heavy construction experience administering safety programs on heavy construction job sites.

Last two (2) years must include experience administering HSE programs on construction project sites, specifically within the construction/scope discipline relevant to the OCTA contract.

Possess one of the following current safety certifications:

Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or
-
Certified Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) both in current standing with the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP); or

Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) in current standing with the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH); or
-
Equivalent professional HSE certification from the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH).

Hold current OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour certifications.

Experience in developing and implementing construction safety plans.

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, and Teams.
