The Director of Emergency & Risk Management reports to the Vice President for Finance and Administration and is responsible for planning, organizing, and administering University-wide emergency management and preparedness services, operations and initiatives. The Director manages the departmental budget, develops & enforces policies, and manages projects related to assigned area. The position is also responsible for all insurance policy renewals, compliance, claims, and risk mitigation.Austin Peay State University is a four-year public, doctoral-level university, with six colleges and four Chairs of Excellence. The University has an enrollment of over 10,000 students and is located in Clarksville, Tennessee, a community of an estimated 180,000 people located approximately 40 miles northwest of Nashville, TN.
