Business Analyst

Overview:

• 3-5 years of experience as a BA focused on e-commerce
• Jira and Confluence, CMS Systems
• Open to all Green Card and US Citizens
• Remote 6 month contract, with possible extension

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our client's e-commerce team. You will work in a highly collaborative environment working closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Developers, and Quality Assurance specialists to determine what experiences have the maximum impact and drive business metrics.

What you'll do:

• Gather, refine, and document detailed business requirements to inform design and development.
• Define and document new system capabilities and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
• Ensuring seamless communication and alignment on complex projects.
• Analyze and resolve challenges in a data-driven environment by leveraging metrics, analytics tools, and stakeholder insights.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring consistent alignment with internal technology teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Partner with product owners to define, refine, and document business requirements, ensuring they align with the overall strategic goals.
• Guide project teams through ambiguity, breaking down complex problems into functional, actionable requirements.
• Actively contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.

Skills needed for success:

• 3-5 years working in agile custom software delivery in a BA capacity
• Demonstrated business analysis experience with direct business interaction
• Strong analytical skills with proven experience in documenting business requirements and creating process flows
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable speaking with and translating between technical and non-technical team members at all levels of the organization
• Experience working with a cross-functional team in the areas of technology, marketing, digital experience, and analytics
• Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
• A history of leading and supporting successful projects
• Experience in an Agile based delivery environment
• Proficient with Jira and Confluence
• Experience working on a mobile application and/or e-commerce platform
• Experience with CMS systems
• Experience with Adobe Experience Tools- Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics
