Remote 6 month contract, with possible extension

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our client's e-commerce team. You will work in a highly collaborative environment working closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Developers, and Quality Assurance specialists to determine what experiences have the maximum impact and drive business metrics.
What you'll do :
Gather, refine, and document detailed business requirements to inform design and development.
Define and document new system capabilities and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
Ensuring seamless communication and alignment on complex projects.
Analyze and resolve challenges in a data-driven environment by leveraging metrics, analytics tools, and stakeholder insights.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring consistent alignment with internal technology teams throughout project lifecycles.
Partner with product owners to define, refine, and document business requirements, ensuring they align with the overall strategic goals.
Guide project teams through ambiguity, breaking down complex problems into functional, actionable requirements.
Actively contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
Skills needed for success :
3-5 years working in agile custom software delivery in a BA capacity
Demonstrated business analysis experience with direct business interaction
Strong analytical skills with proven experience in documenting business requirements and creating process flows
Effective communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable speaking with and translating between technical and non-technical team members at all levels of the organization
Experience working with a cross-functional team in the areas of technology, marketing, digital experience, and analytics
Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
A history of leading and supporting successful projects
Experience in an Agile based delivery environment
Proficient with Jira and Confluence
Experience working on a mobile application and / or e-commerce platform
Experience with CMS systems
Experience with Adobe Experience Tools- Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics
