We are seeking a motivated IT Support Specialist to provide onsite technical support for a key business client. In this role, you’ll manage desktop and server environments, troubleshoot network issues, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve service requests, incidents, and technical problems using a ticketing system.
- Provide hands-on support for Windows desktops, servers, and related applications.
- Troubleshoot network and WiFi issues.
- Administer Citrix servers, VMware environments, and server roles like Active Directory.
- Offer responsive customer support and lead technical meetings.
- Provide coaching and feedback to junior team members.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Degree/Certifications: Associate’s degree in Computer Science (or related field), A , Network certifications, or equivalent experience.
- Technical Skills: 1 year of experience supporting desktop/server environments and networking issues.
- Software Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office troubleshooting, installation, and training.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication in English.
- Transport: Reliable transportation to client locations.
Preferred:
- 3 years of customer-facing IT support experience.
- Experience with Citrix, VMware, or medical software (EMR/Practice Management).
- Knowledge of Windows Server (2008-2016), Active Directory, and networking.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for long periods and use a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs and work flexible hours, including evenings/weekends if needed.
