Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level Linux System Engineer to support on-prem projects and assist with data center migrations and cloud consolidation to AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in system administration, automation, and cloud technologies, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills:
- 2-5 years of experience in Linux system administration, specifically with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- 2 years of experience in automation and system configuration management.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with vCenter/VMware, Dell iDRAC, and cloud environments, specifically AWS.
- Solid understanding of disk partitioning, LVM, networking, and server routing.
- Experience with Firewalld, SELinux, and security configurations.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Centrify/LDAP, and Red Hat Cluster/Pacemaker for high availability and system clustering.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new technologies and take initiative.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
