Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Specialist to join our Engineering and Industrialization team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, driving and managing all applicable engineering and technical aspects associated with Capital Projects, Continuous Improvement Projects, material changes for sustainability, and dual sourcing of equipment/materials to improve our speed to market.
About the Role
The Manufacturing Operations Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities, while also driving process improvements and cost reductions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, as well as experience in project execution, process improvement and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in executing engineering change orders to project scope in equipment and materials.
- Drive sampling, validation and production release of engineering change orders.
- Assist in development of quotations for new market opportunities.
- Seek and develop new technology advancements to gain a competitive edge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing industry, preferably in a production engineer role.
- Fundamental understanding of statistics and data analytics tools.
- Experience in working with injection molds, automation and support equipment.
