What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material handler position at Aptar?
- Cleans and maintains all material system filters daily
- Cleans hoppers, grinders, blenders, regrind bins, colorant bins and material hoses for all material / color changes
- Responsible for the hook-up and set-up of auxiliary equipment
- Performs minor preventative maintenance on some auxiliary equipment
- Fill all surge, colorant bins and hoppers.
- Pull, weigh and return materials
- Monitor inventory of colorant, cartons, bags, pallets, tape and other supplies and supply production floor with additional supplies as needed
- Move production to the Warehouse
- Make cartons and distribute to presses as well as maintain proper number of empty cartons at each press
- Empty trash and weigh scrap daily
- Analyze and resolve material related problems
- Grind rejected production on and off the production floor
- Complete / verify necessary SAP and Mobisys transactions for all raw and finished materials
