Instructional Designer/Technical Writer – Manufacturing

Onsite in Macon, GA – with some remote days!
Client is about 95% complete with a job analysis phase and are now moving into the technical writing phase. The next step is developing training (ILT and eLearning)on clear work instructions and performance tasks. While SOPs exist for most processes, they need updated language and better differentiation between SOPs (the “how”) and job functions/work instructions (the “what”), with a current focus on the Paper Machine department.
Requirements:
Skills
Must have 4 years technical writing
Must have 2 years as an Instructional Designer creating ILT (assets associated with) and eLearning
Must have 2 years in an industrial environment (Preferred, paper Industry)
Must have 2 years writing for Manufacturing Operations
Must have Expert level Microsoft Word skills
Must have very strong attention to detail.
