What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aircraft Technician position at ApTask?
Pay Rate: $42.00/hr on w2
Shift Schedule: A Shift (Monday thru Friday - 6am to 2:30pm)
Pre Screening Questions:
- Have you ever used a torque wrench? If so, what steps would you take if you added a 2-inch extension with a crows-foot to ensure you meet the torque call out?
- Can you translate the acronym “FOD” into its full description?
- Have you worked in aviation or aerospace, if so what commodities and systems have you worked with, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, gaseous pressure systems, Krytox application.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or another relevant field
- Experience in at least one of the following is required: fluids and tubing install, instrumentation and electrical harness routing, general Aerospace/Launch vehicle assembly.
- Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions and test procedures.
- Work collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, fields, and backgrounds
- Communicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and in person.
- Basic digital literacy such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.
- Climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areas.
- Work at Heights on work stands and in lifts.
- Perform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 35lbs.
Salary : $40 - $42
