Job Summary:
The Financial Services Collections Associate role involves the collection of unpaid consumer debt in a call center environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assigning consumer debt inventory, meeting performance targets, and utilizing skip-tracing tools to obtain up-to-date customer information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collection of unpaid consumer debt via inbound and outbound dialing
- Assigning and managing consumer debt inventory
- Maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and internal performance standards
- Utilizing skip-tracing tools to obtain customer information
- Providing daily coverage of accounts until payment arrangements are made
- Recording discussions and actions in collections systems or databases
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in collections and/or customer service
- Prior experience working in a call center
Preferred Qualifications:
- Commercial Collections (B2B) experience
- Knowledge of applicable regulations
- Demonstrated skip tracing skills and ability
