Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Senior Confluent Kafka admin with 10 years of total IT experience with strong engineering background.
- Experience of setup and manage Confluent Kafka cluster and monitor its performance & distribution.
- Design, Configure and manage RBAC and Multi-tenancy.
- Experience with Confluent Kafka On prem as well as Confluent Kafka Cloud.
- Manage all Kafka configurations via Ansible.
- Good experience with setting up DR for Confluent Kafka instances.
- Coordinate with different development teams and manage their connectivity, usage in Kafka cluster.
- Document, maintain and present best engineering practice strategies to ensure near-term changes are aligned with long-term release objectives.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and other backend teams on software upgrades, disaster recovery and other efforts.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in using Confluent Kafka with at least 5 years in administration i.e., cluster management and client integration. Knowledge and experience in git and Ansible.
