What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Continuous Improvement position at ApTask?
Rate Range : $90-$110 / Hr
Job Description :
- Develop and communicate a vision for continuous improvement aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to establish long-term goals for performance, efficiency, and quality improvement.
- Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities that will have the greatest impact on the organization's objectives.
- Lead and manage continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen across the organization.
- Develop standard processes and best practices for improvement initiatives, ensuring consistency and measurable results.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and monitoring of improvement projects, guiding teams on applying these methodologies effectively.
- Strong background in process improvement projects, with a proven track record of leading teams and implementing Lean Six Sigma training.
- Experience in large power and utility companies is preferred.
- Candidates should demonstrate measurable impact in cost savings, productivity improvements, and process optimization.
- Ability to develop a framework and methodology for prioritizing and connecting project scopes.
- Stakeholder collaboration and change management expertise are crucial.
