Duration : 10 months contract with possibilities of extension or conversion.
Shifts & Payrate : A - Pay : $33.00
B - Pay : $36.30
C - Pay : $36.63
The Material Handler 2 position at Blue Origin involves coordinating and managing the flow of materials in the work center.
This role is essential in supporting the manufacturing and supply chain operations, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of production processes within the company.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials between various departments, ensuring the timely completion of production orders.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet changing demands and prioritize urgent orders.
- Collaborate with production planners, supervisors, and other stakeholders to plan and schedule production activities.
- Track and manage inventory levels, ensuring that materials and supplies are available when needed and minimizing production delays.
- Communicate production status, delays, and issues to relevant stakeholders, including management, sales teams, and customers.
- Identify bottlenecks or potential delays in the production process and propose solutions to improve efficiency and meet deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections of production areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, including work orders, production reports, and inventory logs.
- Continuously evaluate and improve production processes and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize waste .
