Rate Range: $15-$16/Hr

Job Description:

• Responsible for following all safety policies and procedure and wearing proper PPE.
• Perform work in a manner that supports Client Quality standards and systems.
• Assist material handler in Q69/warehouse area pick orders and prepare orders for shipment.
• Assist material handler with pickup from Metro warehouse as needed.
• Assemble small and large components to form sub-assemblies or completed assemblies using hand tools, air tools, rivet guns, operate the base robot and sub-assembly machines.
• Build devices per drawing, routing, and work instruction.
• Perform quality checks consistent with the Inspection and control plans.
• Inventory/replenish parts to assembly stations. Use the Kanban system to assure availability of parts.
• Read orders and drawings to determine assembly procedures such as component types and configuration, mounting locations and clearances required.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain 5S in the area.
• Work with various groups of employees in team-based environment, cross-train on all assembly lines and help train new employees.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
• Lift 40 pounds repeatedly and able to safely team lift items exceeding that weight and able to stand/walk for a working shift.
• Working knowledge of assembly machinery and tools.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

• Conduct quality checks to ensure product integrity.
• Manage inventory and replenish parts to assembly stations efficiently.
• Read orders and drawings to determine assembly procedures accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Compliance with all safety policies and procedures and wearing proper PPE.
• Ability to perform work in alignment with Client Quality standards and systems.
• Proficiency in assembling components using hand tools, air tools, and assembly machinery.
• Capability to conduct quality checks and read orders and drawings accurately.
• Capacity to lift 40 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for a working shift.
• Working knowledge of assembly machinery and tools.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems, particularly the Kanban system.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
