We’re looking for an Program Manager, IT - Business Systems for our office in Alpharetta, GA. The position is a full-time contract role.
About the role
Aptean is seeking an experienced IT Program Manager for our business systems team, based onsite at our corporate headquarters in Alpharetta, GA. This role will serve as a critical stakeholder manager for the VP of Information Technology, overseeing and coordinating strategic programs that enhance and optimize Aptean’s business systems, including ERP, CRM, and other enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will bring extensive program management expertise, a strong understanding of business systems, and experience leading enterprise-wide technology initiatives to drive business alignment and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact and liaison for the VP of Information Technology and Business Systems, ensuring alignment on program objectives, updates, and strategic priorities. Provide clear and consistent communication to senior leadership on program status, key developments, and risk factors.
- Project Oversight: Oversee and coordinate multiple business systems projects, ensuring they align with Aptean’s IT and overall business objectives.
- Program Planning and Reporting: Develop program plans and track project timelines. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams at the Alpharetta headquarters and globally.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders from IT, business units, and external vendors to implement, upgrade, and integrate business systems, ensuring optimized performance and scalability.
- Risk Management: Identify and proactively address risks in business systems projects, implementing solutions to maintain compliance, security, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 5 years in IT program or project management, with a focus on business systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems).
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of business systems, ERP, and project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana).
- Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record in stakeholder engagement and managing cross-functional, cross-regional projects.
- Certifications: PMP, PgMP, ITIL, or Agile certifications are a plus.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory compliance and best practices in IT-related business projects is a plus.
