About the role
This is a newly created role with the opportunity to build a high-impact function from the ground up. Reporting to the VP of Sales Operations, you will play a critical role in improving deal accuracy, increasing efficiency, and driving collaboration across Sales, Finance, and Legal. Key Responsibilities:
- Advise the Sales team on complex transactions, including SaaS conversions, product swaps, and ramp deals, ensuring accurate pricing, contract terms, and billing setup.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Legal teams to validate deal structures, flag potential issues, and ensure a smooth approval process before Order Forms are sent to customers.
- Manage the Sales Desk queue, prioritizing deal reviews based on impact, complexity, and urgency.
- Guide the implementation of Salesforce validation rules to ensure that any quote modifications trigger a re-review before customer submission.
- Track and report on Sales Desk review metrics, including turnaround time, common deal errors, and trends in contract exceptions, leveraging insights to drive innovation in the sales process.
- Partner with Sales Enablement to train AEs and sales teams on common deal pitfalls, policy changes, and best practices.
- Act as the final checkpoint before deals are sent for customer signature, ensuring compliance with internal policies and commercial guidelines while keeping deal velocity high.
About You
5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, or a related field.
Experience working with complex deal structures, including SaaS pricing models, contract terms, and enterprise agreements.
Strong understanding of Salesforce, particularly CPQ, including quote approvals, pricing configurations, and validation rules.
Ability to interpret legal and financial terms in contracts and translate them into actionable deal structuring recommendations.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Legal to align on deal execution.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deal reviews simultaneously in a high-volume sales environment.
Proven experience developing scalable processes to improve deal efficiency and reduce errors.
Comfortable working in a hands-on, high-impact role, ensuring operational efficiency while balancing business needs.
