Job Overview:The Grounds Laborer will perform work in accordance with the PWS requirements of the Branch, i.e., mowing, raking, weed abatement, tree trimming, weed eating, planting of shrubs, trees (up to 6 feet), grass, fertilizing, street maintenance and policing of areas listed in the PWS.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Perform a wide variety of labor tasks involved in the maintenance of facilities, street maintenance equipment and grounds at the Fort Irwin National Training Center.
- Labor tasks provided to assist trades people in the repair and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and grounds at the Fort Irwin National Training Center and occasionally the Barstow Dagget Airfield.
- Participation in all APTIM/HDSS EHS and Quality procedures.
- Must be able to act professionally in the presence of the public and co-workers.
- Must be able to accurately track time, work orders, and parts using electronic devices.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must possess a valid California driver's license.
