What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer position at APTIM?
Job Overview:
Under supervision of Site Manager, employees will support on-going below grade demolition and soil excavation work in support of the USACE Fort Belvoir SM-1 D&D Project.
Responsibilities:
- Use of hand tools
- Ability to work in a team environment in a safe and productive manner.
- Support loading of soil in soft sided bags
- Perform other general labor work in support of project activities, as needed
- Operate skid steer and telehandler as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year general construction work experience
- Previous environmental project work preferred.
- Must be local to Fort Belvoir, VA
- Ability to pass background check, if required
- Clean driving record with valid license.
- Able to pass drug screen, general physical
- Dependable transportation and cell phone service
Schedule:
- Schedule will be daytime hours 7am to 530pm
- Monday thru Friday (5 days/week)
- Opportunity for up to 10 hours/week overtime
